Ok I read all the posts of rooting but did not see if I root my phone with persistent root will it take out t/wiz? The reason is I want to root my phone but I want t/wiz because I like it and also the camera features.... some of you maybe saying I'm crazy because I like those features but I do don't know why but I do. All I want is tto root the phone so I can delete some of the apps they installed that I don't use and now with that maintance they put more Angry Oh I was not sure where to put this so feel free to move it where it goes if it doesn't belong here. Thanks to everybody on this great forum!! Grin

not to worry, rooting will not change the phones os. It simply gives you, the user, higher access to the system files basically making you system administrator. you shouldn't confuse rooting your phone with running a custom rom as they are two different beasts. custom roms will change twiz. But there is a rom without twiz that still has all the features you want. However, if all you want to do is remove system apps go ahead and root. It will not effect twiz.  Grin
