I am looking at buying a new case for my Samsung Behold II and currently looking at OtterBox commuter series case. I found it at http://www.dealrocker.com/promotions/newegg/deals for $34.99. I don't have much knowledge about phone accessories, so need your help to buy the best one. I have read many good reviews on OtterBox, but still confused about my purchase. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Please let me know if you have any better recommendation.

Thanks..

I bought my rubberized case from T-Mobile store for like 14.95. I don't know that I would necessarily spend that much money on a case for a phone unless you intend to go hiking on a mountain. Even then there is no real protection from the screen, so really the true purpose of these cases should be for one protection on small falls, two make handling better. I have thanked my rubberized case, ok not literally, but I know I about fumbled my phone but the grip on this case helped me from not dropping it. Compared to with the case off at home, I have dropped it on the carpet. There is one fall back to my case, it is relatively slim to the point that it could get caught between your leg and car seat, pull the case off, while the phone goes towards the parking lot, I have done that trick.

I wouldn't spend that much money on a case unless it was for a Vibrant or something that is to be supported down the road, personally that is. I would be more concerned with screen protection. I am not sure yet without research what material is used on this display. I read on another forum site that they have gotten rid of their screen protector on the Vibrant because of the scratch resistant glass. I am not sure if this is the case with this phone or not. I bought a 6.95 screen protector from Amzer and am still using it. I have switched phones and it was a cinch to transfer. I could only imagine the scratches the actual display would have incurred had it not been for this protector. I would look at investing more in that type of protection than a rubberized case, unless again you are to be hiking and need a rugged case. Just pointing out the two differences there.

I just bought last night for around $14, a silicone case and XtremeGUARD screen protector for my Vibrant I got today. The XtremeGUARD normally is 19.99 but I got it for $2.00. I went out on a whim here based on what the Executive at T-Mobile told me on Tuesday about where to get stuff for the Vibrant. He suggested Amazon. I'd take a peak over there too and see if they have a deal on your Otterbox as I saw them around when I was ordering.

Thanks for the info! It's what I thought. What would you recommend as a viable alternative for iTunes that will allow me to play files on Android OS phones?
