1: Copying and Pasting within the Web Browser

To copy text from a website while viewing the page, press Menu > Select Text. Use your finger to highlight the text to be copied. When you lift your finger, the message Text Copied to Clipboard will appear. To paste copied text, hold your finger down until the Paste menu appears, Touch Paste to paste the copied text.

2: Using Voice Search

Open the Voice Search Widget, speak the search request, and the phone will display those Google search results.

3: Accessing and Setting Widgets

To display the Widget Bar, touch the Widget Bar menu. Touch it again to hide.

One way users can add widgets and shortcuts to the scrolling workspaces is by touching an empty area of the screen, and holding your finger in place until the Add to Home menu appears. Users can add a Shortcut, a Widget, Folders, or new Wallpapers to the screens.

To access Gmail from the workspace, open the Widget Bar and touch the Gmail Widget, and then sign into the Google account.

To upload a video to YouTube, open the YouTube Widget, and then Menu > Upload. Select the desired video already on the phone by touching the thumbnail image. Users must sign into YouTube to access this feature.

6: Using Voice Recorder Settings

Users can name their voice recordings and set recording time for 5, 10, or 30 minutes. Touch the Voice Recorder Widget, and then Setting. From the Recording Time drop-down menu, set the time. Then, touch the box under Default Name and use the virtual QWERTY keyboard to type in a name for the notes, and touch Save.

To see a list of supported Bluetooth profiles from the workspace, touch Quick List > Settings > Bluetooth > Settings > Bluetooth Services.

8: Activating XT9 Predictive Text and Auto Substitute

In addition to predicting subsequent letters and completing words, XT9 can also be set up to auto substitute the most common grammatical errors, like changing wouldnt to wouldn't, and alot to a lot.

Go to the Quick List and touch Settings > Language > Samsung Keyboard > Auto-Substitution > On.

9: Using Auto Focus

Within the Camera viewfinder, press the Shutter key halfway down to auto focus. Press the button all the way down to take the picture.

10: Posting a Picture to Picasa

After taking a picture, touch the photo thumbnail to post. Touch Share > Picasa. Sign into Google and touch Upload.

11: Memory Card Formatting Shortcut

13: Maneuvering the Scrolling Home Screen

The Main workspace on the Samsung Behold II is not a static page; this workspace scrolls right to left so users have more space to organize their widgets and applications. To navigate, glide your finger across the screen or up and down, and also use the Navigation key to jump from feature to feature.

14: Pre-loaded Song and Music Video on the Samsung Behold II Free microSD Memory Card
