Not sure if you've received it yet, however I received it on Tuesday. I like the fact that i no longer have the fuzziness when turning it on. Actually i've also notice the response time is great no lagging. I'm really glad to have it. Google maps works and swype is ok. I really don't have any complaints.

i used anycut and device management to try to force the update. it states that you received the update and so on. after the phone rebooted, i check About Phone under settings and my firmware is still stuck on 1.5

i didn't get the update from t-mobile. apparently that's the only way to get the samsung/tmobile official 1.6 update. for some t-mobile doesn't know how to send out updates.

it blows my mind that the users and private sector developers have to go to work to figure out how to update this samsung pos device for the rest of the users.

Ok my friends finally I have the 1.6 not because of trying to force the update tmo sent me another phone yes another phone. Well I do like the new keyboard and it's lots more faster, I  have had this phone for two weeks and have no problems with the memory card unmounting or corrupting it, the popcorn screen gone when  I hit the button to use the phone. Still can't send or recieve ringtones with the bluetooth and that s_ _ ks because I use that a lot, but all in all it's a wholelot better than 1.5 don't get me wrong it's not 2.0 but it's better than nothing.

Evernote, Midnight Bowling, and Where's Waldo came with the bug update that was released back around February and not June. However, I will say, I don't know if they still have those apps in 1.6 or not, so I'd say check your device software for sure.

Ok, got my exchange today with 1.6 on it, it still has Evernote, Midnight Bowling and Where's Waldo, so sorry for not believing that you have 1.6, just was trying to confirm there for sure with ya.
